Bio:
Sarah Blake is an Equity-registered professional actor, director & writer. She trained at Drama Studio London and founded the theatre company, Cabinets of Curiosity (www.cabinets-of-curiosity.co.uk), in 2011 and the audiobook company, Sounds Curious (www.soundscurious.net), in 2016. Now living in Darmstadt, Sarah has been commissioned by the ESOC Theatre Group on several occasions to lead workshops for its members, in voice (support, projection & articulation), improvisation, directing and audio acting. She has also been hired by the group to direct: a rehearsed reading of Neil Simon’s ‘The Odd Couple’ (Female Version) (2017), a rehearsed reading of Angela Carter’s ‘Puss In Boots’ (2019), a lockdown Zoom production of ‘Barbara Pease Weber’s ‘Foolish Fishgirls and The Pearl' (2021) and an outdoor production of William Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ (2022).
