ESOC THEATRE GROUP
"ZOOMING INTO THEATRE"
Sunday 31st January, 11:00 - 13:00
Are you missing the buzz of rehearsals and performing in a play? Or are you interested in doing some acting - but without the line-learning or stage fright?! Then sign up for our free workshop on ‘Zooming Into Theatre’ with Sarah Blake.
Sarah is a professional actor and director who, during lockdown 2020, took part in over 60 Zoom play readings and performances.
During this two-hour session, she’ll guide you through the perks and pitfalls of virtual rehearsals and online acting and directing, as well as sharing tips for both actors and directors on how to get the best out of the video chat format, and answering any questions you have about creating your own online show. A great way to have fun, feel creative and stay connected! If you are interested, please email email@example.com
Although this workshop is being run for ESOC Theatre Group members, non-group members from the wider theatre community are very welcome to attend the workshop and can book for a special New Year offer of €15 (normally €45), by contacting Sarah directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Further information about Sarah’s workshops can be found at: www.sarahblakeworkshops.com

"Unmute Me!" by Rich Orloff
Rich Orloff is a playwright living in New York. To deal with the challenges of theatres' current production limitations, he recently created "Unmute Me!", a collection of 15 Zoom-friendly adaptations of his best ten-minute plays. In the USA, these plays have won the Audience Favorite awards in four new play festivals (Palm Springs National Short Play Festival, Driftwood Players, Storefront Theatre, and State University of New York at Brockport).
Our theatre group is about putting on a good show, but also friendship and FUN! These photos give you a glimpse into what we do, enjoy!
