Andy Johnstone
Nationality: Scottish
Bio:
Andy Johnstone is our AWARD WINNING stage manager and self-proclaimed head of Q-branch - the elite team of theatre group members skilled in making special effects that sometimes work but often not in the way intended.
Currently he is employed at ESOC as some sort of Engineer and features on several large backlit display boards showing that not only do Europe's best and brightest work there but they are obliged to take Scotsmen too.
He has worked backstage on many of our productions and has only set fire to the set twice. Not normally allowed in front of the curtain so as not to upset members of the public with his colourful language and "unique" smell, he was reluctantly cast as Henry the Inept Stage Manager in Farndale Women's Thingy Blah Blah Production of MacBeth. A role, all agreed, that he was born to play.
