Wild Shakespeare picnic in the park

2016 commemorated 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare and on August 21st, the ETG hosted a picnic to celebrate the talents of the bard.

The weather, in true British style, was wet. However this didn't deter us and we set up camp in the 'tea room' gazebo of the Prinz-Georg Garten, Darmstadt. Everyone brought some delicious food and drink to share, and we were entertained with a variety of acting, singing and games. Once the gazebo closed, we relocated to the Herrngarten, where the weather held out and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you to all members who came to the event and helped to make it a truly fun evening!
